Berlin World Games

The Special Olympics World Games 2023 took place this summer from 17 – 25 June in Berlin, Germany. Thousands of athletes, coaches, families and fans descended upon the historic city as Special Olympics athletes competed against one another in 26 different sports. Athletes not only trained and competed, they were able to experience new and different cultures while meeting new people and experience the many resources available to them through Special Olympics and its partners. The week was filled with triumphs on and off the competition fields as the Movement continues to grow and expand becoming even more inclusive through the power of sport.
