Eva Gažová has extensive experience in sport management, sport marketing, sponsorship, and volunteer work. She has over 30 years of experience working in sport on both the international and national level. Currently she serves as both the National Director of Special Olympics Slovakia and Chairwoman of the Executive Board Special Olympics Europe Eurasia.
In 2018 she became certified in the Motor Activity Training Program. Eva has received countless awards for her achievements, most notably the Crystal Wing Award in Philanthropy in 2021 and was awarded by Slovak Olympic Committee with the Bronze Olympic Rings Award.
Her work with individuals with intellectual disabilities began in 1994, her summer after high school, and has continued to advocate and support the community through sports ever since. Additionally, she has served on both the Slovak Olympic Committee in 2000, 2002, and 2004, and the Slovak Paralympic Committee in 2006. Eva also served on the Slovak Olympic Committee as both the Olympic Development project manager and Sport manager for the following Olympic Games: Athens 2004, Salt Lake 2002, Sydney 2000. She has worked in various roles with the Office of the Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport in Slovakia.
