Inclusion Revolution Radio podcast host, Novie Craven, and co-host, Josh Basile, from accessiBe have teamed up to release a podcast mini-series highlighting the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023.
In this week’s episode, Josh and Novie spoke with Special Olympics Malta Athlete Leader and Health Messenger, Shanaia Xuereb, about her time at this year’s World Games Berlin 2023. Shanaia shared her experiences from many facets of Games including competing and meeting with athlete leaders from around the world. Shanaia also spoke about how she used the World Games to amplify her and fellow athletes' voices to encourage companies to be more inclusive of people with disabilities.
