On this week’s episode of Inclusion Revolution Radio, podcast host Novie Craven spoke with Special Olympics Great Britain athlete, Matthew Brough, about his success around the sport of tennis as both an athlete and as a coach.
Matthew has found immense success in the tennis world within Special Olympics and beyond. At the Special Olympics Berlin Games 2023, he won a gold medal in Men’s Singles and a Bronze medal in Mixed Doubles. He also earned the title of York Sport Young Disabled Sports Person of the Year in both 2019 and 2022. Not only has he found success as an athlete, but he’s achieved a level 1 tennis coaching certification and dedicates his time to teaching the sport to young people and adults with disabilities. Additionally, Matthew is now aspiring to be a motivational speaker, using his success to inspire others.
