Together, We Change the World
Special Olympics understands that to truly be inclusive, we must work together to empower people with intellectual disabilities in all aspects of their lives beyond the playing field. Significant gifts from key individuals and foundations have been critical to the success of some of our most important accomplishments, including our groundbreaking work in athlete leadership, health, cross-cultural research, education and family support. We remain grateful to these key individuals and institutions who are driving our mission forward through their exceptional commitments.

A Society of Committed Individuals
Special Olympics is proud to acknowledge individuals who have made an exceptional commitment to our work. The Shriver Society is a select group of donors named in honor of our visionary founder Eunice Kennedy Shriver and her husband, Sargent. See who's already a member of the Shriver Society.
Membership in the Shriver Society is for one year and features a variety of benefits including dedicated staff support at Special Olympics, enhanced e-communications, periodic donor-only Town Hall briefings, invitations to exclusive events, inclusion in our Annual Report and recognition on the Donor Wall display at Special Olympics headquarters in Washington, DC.
Shriver Society membership begins at $10,000 USD donated within one calendar year.
